Sometimes the design really doesn't matter when you can create great content and have a community that can identify and related to you. If you can build yourself as that authority, people will listen to what you have to say, help promote you and keep the discussion going. BTW any good critiques for my blog you could give me so I can make it better would be most appreciated so I don't break the ideal rules. Is my page clean and ok, or is there something wrong? Is my unblockable popup when my page loads a good idea or a big turnoff? Who signs up using unblockable popups? I have, that's why I use the technique.
