I would highly recommend this directory because most of the pages have page rank 4 or 5 and will help you in improving your search engine rankings.
4. Business.com - is useful directory for business owners and companies to get their sites listed. This directory is accepting paid submission only. Websites that are willing to get their listing on Business.com directory have to pay $299 annually.
5. Joeant - Joeant was started in 2001 and is a great web directory having links to quality sites only. One has to pay $39.99 for a listing on Joeant web directory.
6. Jayde - is one of the oldest business directories that was started in 1996. Jayde is accepting free submissions. For submitting a website here, users have to enter their website address and a working e-mail.
7. Searchsight - is another great directory with nice alexa rankings in the range of 23,000. Searchsight is accepting free as well as featured listings.
8. Ezilon - is accepting free as well as paid submissions. For free submissions, review time can be long and in some case can take up to six months. And in case of paid listing one has to pay one time fee of $69 for their website listing and their website will be included here on Ezilon within next 48 hours.
9. MavicaNet - is a useful directory with more than 30,000 categories and 30 supporting languages. This directory is accepting free submissions and one will not have much problem in submitting their websites here.

I’ve gone through lots of social media sites in the last one year to submit news/articles from my websites/blogs and favorite stuff around. My experience with some of them was great and some were just waste of time.

We love to visit social media websites where we get latest news about the topics we are interested in. I’ve created a list of 10 social media websites where I get the stuff of my choice and also been able to drive some quality traffic on my websites:

1. Digg - is the most popular social media website covering all major topics including Technology, World & Business, Science, Gaming, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Sports with many sub categories. Users can submit videos and images with news/articles of their choice here. If you are able to bring any of your story on Digg home page, then you can expect thousands of visitors to your website from Digg in few hours time only which in some cases may cause your server crash down due to high volume of traffic.
   
2. Propeller - another social news website like Digg covering all major categories including News, Politics, Health, Technology, Science, Art, Movies, Travel, Food, Family, Money, Sports, Videos, Celebrity news etc. Propeller is not as effective as Digg in terms of traffic but one can expect few thousand visitors from propeller to their website if they are make to make the homepage of Propeller.
   
3. StumbleUpon - One should not expect thousands of visitors from StumbleUpon for their postings here. 4. Delicious - Again one can expect few thousand hits to their website in a short interval of time if they are able to make it to the home page of Delicious. But for doing that, one need to create a big social network here. We use tagging while submitting or bookmarking the stories here
   
5. Reddit - is another social news site with lots of latest news and something for everyone.
