Another good internet marketing technique is article marketing. I have tried it out and it worked for me.
Twitter and facebook also help so much in internet marketing. Also use article directories.
The hardest part is the monetization of the website, even if you optimize a site and get traffic, if the traffic is not targeted you failed.
