Tips for Google Adsense ApprovalThese days, it has become very difficult to get an Adsense account approval. It was not the case there three to four years back when we were able to get Adsense account approved with free blogs even created on blogger.com. So today’ I’m going to suggest 5 tips that will help you get your Google Adsense account approval very quickly:

1. Apply with your owned domain

You must have your own domain name when you apply for a publisher account with Google Adsense. You can see more benefits of having your own domain name compared to a free domain here.

2. Provide quality content

Always provide quality content on your blog and never thought of copying content from other websites and blogs as no one loves a copy paste blog like Google. Also make sure that the content on your blog is as per the policies of Google Adsense. You should publish 30-40 articles at least on your blog before applying for Google Adsense. If you apply with a blog with 3-4 posts only, chances of your Google Adsense account approval are very low.

3. Domain Age Matters

Domain age also plays a big role when you think of applying for an account with Google Adsense. You should apply for an Adsense account with the most popular and aged blog. Your chances of being accepted into Google Adsense revenue sharing program gets very high if you apply with a domain having age greater than 6 months.

4. Good traffic blog

Lots of blogs gets rejected because they don’t have any real traffic. So your blog chance of being accepted into Adsense is rare if the blog you are applying with does not have decent amount of traffic.

5. Some other issues

You must use a valid email address and name when applying for Adsense account. With this, your blog should have professional looking theme and should not contain broken links, page under construction, HTML or grammatical errors.

Do you thing I missed any key point that one must keep in mind while applying for an Adsense account, please share in the comments section.

I have noticed that sometimes your location is directly affecting for the Google AdSense account approval. People from USA, Australia can get the account approved easily while strict rules for some countries like India. I think this some thing like back listed I guess.

I think the country of applicant is also a factor. If the applicant is from countries like India then his application will most likely get rejected( unless his site get tons of traffic). But we can see that some US based Made for Adsense websites( those with no content, just ads) get approved easily.

Well, my account took more than 2 days to approve as I’m from South Africa. I guess your points are valid and help out. But if you are doing things right, then your account will be approved, maybe a bit longer but you will get there.

Thats true George. you should not try the easy way cheated ways to make money specially with AdSense. Sooner or later but before the first payment your account will be banned for ever without any questions asked.

Like you have mentioned it is important to do everything right before you apply for Adsense account if you really want to get it approved.

I would like to share my Adsense experiences if you really like to.

Great tips here. I didn’t realize people had issues. I guess they had too many fake accounts out there they had to tighten up a bit.

#2 – relevant content and lots of it help because AdSense serves up ads that are relevant to your blogs or websites content. Optimization of that content helps with both search engine rankings and making sure you get quality ads. Do some research and find out what keywords pay well. Good chance that a click on an ad with those keywords payout more. Make sure ad placement flows well with the content.

Its worth remembering though that Adsense is merely a numbers game. If your blog only gets a hundred or so visits a day you will only make a few cents. To earn decent Adsense checks requires traffic in the many thousands.

sjay September 3, 2010 at 12:06 am

That is absolutely true. seo consultant. It took me some times to get decent traffic and until then AdSense was only making me couple of cents or most days were zero. Without traffic you should not think about good AdSense income.

I disagree that it has to do with just traffic. I have a website that has about less than 50 visits per day. I make $2-3 on some of those clicks and sometimes less.

All of these are great solid points, have to agree though with Dennis J Smith, traffic is not really huge, as long as you have a really awesome website that the Google reviewer will love to see.

Till then,

It has definitely become harder as of late. I remember I got approved with a little content and a bad concept of what I was supposed to be doing. I’ve definitely improved but as a beginner I remember how it was to be overwhelmed by the whole process of creating my first website. I think a honest attempt at unique content and generating a small following will get you approved.

Make sure your site looks like you would want it to look like if you were a visitor. That will automatically tell you what you need to improve or change. If you do everything the right way and not try to shortcut things, then you will definitely get approved.
