So we can see that time comes out as a major factor while blogging and it is what that many bloggers are hard pressed for. Fast blogging is not natural; it takes effective time management and good knowledge of the subject that you write on. In this post I have mentioned 6 powerful tips to become a faster blogger.
1. Idea Pad
This is one of the most effective methods to become a faster blogger. We all know how much time it takes to research on topics and come up with ideas for an interesting blog post. So when you are doing some thing else, it often happens that your mind comes up with ideas for a post. So it is recommended that you keep a notepad with you for this purpose. So you can note down ideas the moment they strike you. As we know, the most genius ideas comes at the most odd moment – so be prepared to note them down as soon as they hit you.
2. Use Google Reader
Google Reader is a great way to stay updated with your peers. This means that you are updated with all the other bloggers. All their latest updates and articles will show up in Google reader. Sooner or later you are sure to be inspired by a post written by another author – then you can save those ideas onto your idea pad or even save the post link for future references. It is always true that the more you read, the more ideas will strike you. So make it a point to be active in reading other quality blogs.
3. Be Imperfect
Do not always try to be a perfectionist while blogging. It is sometimes better to ignore the little small mistakes that you make. The more you try to be perfect online, it will drain out more of your energy and you will spend time in doing minor things which will not matter in the long run. It is better to use your time on more productive activities. Many bloggers waste so much time on perfecting the article, by reading it and editing it, time and over again. So avoid this costly mistake and become a faster blogger.
4. Maintain Post Drafts
Write and keep completed drafts of posts. At least keep a stock of 10-15 post drafts. Make it a point never to use it unless you are may be going out-of-station for a few weeks or you fall sick that you cannot blog. Moreover, having post drafts will remove a lot of pressure out of your head. You can focus on creating more quality content in the future rather than writing articles as a last minute resort.
5. Plan Ahead
If you are smart then you will know the distinct advantages of planning early. In the beginning of every month, decide the post frequency and topics you will deal with in the coming days. Also come up with a list of blogs where you want to guest post for a month, and then prepare high-quality guest articles for them. Also create a target of Twitter followers or Readers you want to achieve in the coming month. You will see that simply planning all these things will save a lot of time which you can spend in doing other activities or may be improve your blogging efficiency.
6. Surroundings
De-clutter the surrounding around you. A junk-filled environment is the number one way to pull down your efficiency while blogging. If your desk is full of clutter like used cups, unorganized files, bills and other clutter strewn over – surely you cannot blog at the same level you could have blogger if your surroundings were clean and peaceful. Being able to focus is an important part of becoming a fast blogger and a cluttered surrounding will surely not let you focus completely on the task at hand.
