If you are running a blog on WordPress, you must know how to create pages on your blog like About Me, Contact Me, Advertise, Services etc kind of pages on our wordpress hosted as well as self hosted wordpress blogs. But can we create such kind of pages if we have a blog on Blogger.com (Blogspot)?

It was nearly impossible to create a page on Blogger blog before. If we need to create a page on blogger, we use to create a post and use that as a page. But now we can create pages on a blogger blog like we are able to create pages on a WordPress based blog.

With this feature, we can create up to 10 pages on any of our blogger blog. Here is how to manual about creating pages on Blogger blog:

  • Login into your Blogger.com account and go to Blogger in Draft
  • Move to Layout –> Posting –> Edit Pages
    edit pages in blogger blogs
  • Click on ‘New Page’ button or ‘Create a page’ link to start creating your first page on blogger.
create new page in blogger blog
  • Once you have finished and saved your first page, its time to show it on your blogger blog. You can show it as tabs on your blog or show links for your pages in your sidebar. You can create up to 10 pages on a single blog.
  • Again go to Layout –> ‘Add a Gadget’ link
  • Now Select Pages which helps you add stand alone pages that you created on your blog, ignore if you ‘Already Added’

This way you will be able to show the list of pages on the top of your blog whose URL’s will look like:

http://domainname.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html

http://domainname.blogspot.com/p/contact-me.html

http://domainname.blogspot.com/p/privacy-policy.html

http://domainname.blogspot.com/p/advertise.html

Try creating some static pages on your blog with this create a Page feature which was recently enabled by Blogger team. Feel free to leave comments if you face any problem in creating pages on your blogger blog.

I wanted this feature ever since I started blogging in 2007. I hated making a new post just to use that as a page for something like Contact Me and Privacy Policy. Thanks for letting me know!

i have a blogger site and i would like to know how do i get my extra pages to show up on there own when they are clicked on, when i goto click on my added pages under my blogger banner such as my about me, product page etc , i always see my welcome info /text 1st on top of the extra page content instead of just the extra page content alone, i would like for my extra pages to appear like how yours appear on your blog when clicked on, it takes you straight to the content of that (extra page info)

Hi,

I’ve been having some trouble with Blogger and I’m not sure who to ask for help.

I created an art and process blog a couple of weeks ago, however I would like to post photos of previous works without having them appear at the top of my blog– I’d like for them to be accessible via the archives according to when the works were created.

Since I wasn’t able to accomplish this, I created a second blogger blog– a blog that would serve as an archive via a link.

The next thing I tried was to adapt my header in a way so that if someone wanted to see more of my completed works they could click on the word archive or even a hyperlink and be re-directed to the blog that would serve as my archives. Unfortunately, this didn’t work either.

I tried using the “page” feature and even though both blogs are created with blogger and are published, I can’t seem to link them together. When I click on the page or the post, it appears to be active, yet loops me back to the same page that I’m on.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Hi! Hoping you can help. I have created new Page tabs across the top of my site, but cannot figure out how to assign old and new posts to any of the tabs. I am hoping to be able to assign posts so that they show up chronologically, similar to my home page. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Lauren
