I use certain parameters to decide whether a particular blog is popular or not. I mainly use Google Page Rank, Alexa Ranking and Technorati to know the popularity of a blog. But after last algorithm changes in Alexa Rankings, it seems as if Alexa has lost its importance to some extent at least. So its Google page rank and Technorati Ranking that still has some real value.
Recently I was going through Technorati Top 100 blogs and was able to know about many popular blogs there about whom I haven’t heard about so far. Most importantly, why I was browsing this popular list of bloggers from Technorati?
