This is a quick guide that will help you in getting your website indexed quickly in all major search engines including Google, Yahoo, and Live Search etc. This guide includes all techniques that I’m using for years to get my website and blogs indexed within some hours or days in all major search engines.

  1. Google webmaster tool: create an account on Google webmaster tool, submit your website and its sitemap there to get your website indexed fastly on Google.
  2. Submit your website to Google: You can submit your website to Google here. This way you are inviting Google crawl to index your website. You should submit your website home page to this URL and no internal page please.
  3. Social media submission: Submit one or two articles from your website/blog on top social media sites including Digg, Propeller and Delicious
  4. Comments posting: Spend some time on internet and find top websites and blogs in your niche. Leave quality comments on these websites with a link to your website.
  5. Forums signature: If you are an active member on any popular discussion forum, then include links to your newly created website in your Signature Section. I’m an active member on DP forum, Sitepoint and WebProWorld.
  6. Press Release: Write a good looking press lease about new launching website and submit it websites that accepts press releases.
  7. Article Submission: Write 4-5 quality articles about your niche and submit them on Top article submission websites like EzineArticles.com, ArticleDashboard.com, and Americanchronicle.com etc.
  8. Directory Submission: Submit your website and blogs to most popular and high PR website directories and blog directories.
  9. Other popular websites: if you have a popular website which is getting indexed on regular basis, then add a link to your newly created website there. As I have noticed, this is the easiest and effective method of getting a newly created website indexed.

In most of cases, you will find these techniques effective and will help you in getting your websites indexed fastly on Google with other search engines. And I’m hoping following just 3-4 of them will solve your problems related to website indexing.

If you have other websites already established, link from them as well to get the crawlers to your site for getting indexed.
Nice list – thanks :)

Ah, these 9 tips works. I used these all the time on my websites.

Depending on how much backlinks you get back, you can get your sites index within 2-4 days. It’s pretty great.

Articlse and Directories submission helps quite a bit. Comment posting is gives a huge leverage. (Make sure not to spam)

Of all these, #3 worked best for me, but I have noticed a slowdown in the past year.
