It is always good if you have paypal account especially if you are willing to make make money with affiliate and referral kind of stuff. There are some site even who pays via paypal only.

I use paypal to receive payment from one of my data entry jobs. It is the employers choice of payment because it is easy to use and it can transfer up to the specific cents.
I remember working for Michael Cheney’s Delta Squadron and he used Paypal to pay me. No bad experience yet with paypal.
Praveen, Most of affiliate websites pays via Check. So paypal will not be much usful with most of popular affiliate websites like Amazon, Clickbank and linkshare. But you can make money using paypal when you think of making money with most of paid to blog websites and text link selling websites. Also most site owners use paypal as a mean to receive all kind of payments they get for any kind of advertisement on their websites and blogs
