So far I have talked a lot about how to make money online selling text links via different marketplace, through paid blogging websites, social network websites, affiliate websites etc. In today’s post, I will talk about how to making money online with your blog selling different kind of advertisements. I think most of you guys are familiar with this amazing money making opportunity with your website or blog.
We must have an ‘Advertise here’ or ‘Your Ads here’ kind of page available on our website if you are aiming at making some money selling advertisements on our blog. So what kind of content we should include in an ‘advertise here’ page:
This page should include some basic stats about your website like its Google page rank, Alexa Ranking, Technorati Ranking, RSS Subscribers Count, and Number of Articles added so far with other stuff like Media coverage, testimonials, keywords ranking for your website etc. With this you should also mention different kind of advertising options that are available on your blog like:
- Large text links
- Regular text links
- Banner sizes that are allowed
- Paid reviews option
- Links inside posts
Once you are finished with all this, don’t forget to mention how people can communicate with you. Please mention one or two of your e-mail ids that you access on regular basis. But I forget to mention one important thing, how you will like to be paid. So please specify the mode of payment that you accept like Paypal, Check, Bank Transfer or MoneyBookers.
I get 15-20 e-mails every month on my blog for private ads. And if I’m able to convert just 4-5 of them only into sales i.e. people who actually buy some ad spots on my blog, I will be able to make few hundred dollars every month on my blog by selling private ads only. For the last few months, I have been able to earn $100 to $200 per month by selling private advertisements on my blog. And for this purpose, I simply created an Advertise Here page here on my Scopeformoney blog.
I don’t put any extra efforts on selling private ads on my blog. All inquiries that I’m getting every month for advertisement on my blog are from the readers of my blog only. A person should use adversiting, blogging and all sorts of marketing to make money online. You really want to brand yourself.

Yeah surely you can use this with blogspot blog as well. For this, you have to create an advertise page on your bloggger blog. You can see in action on one ofbiggest money making blog created on blogger at: http://moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com/2008/11/advertise.html.
