Paid Surveys are a great way to make money online. They are perfect for beginners because they are free to sign up with (the legitimate ones) and are fairly easy to use and follow. There are a good number of survey sites out there that offer an opportunity to make some extra cash online.
What exactly is a Paid Survey Site?
A paid survey site is a site that pays users to take surveys regarding all sorts of topics. The topics range from your toothpaste to what kind of car you have. Most survey sites send out anywhere from 5-15 surveys a month via email. The number usually depends on your demographics, where you live, your age, etc. The surveys generally pay $.50-$10.00. However sometimes you will surveys that will pay up to $50.00 or more. Again this largely depends on your demographics. You are probably wondering how these survey sites make their money. Well companies and businesses like Nike, Coke, Pepsi and others need their products surveyed to see what they need to change. Survey sites give out their surveys and as a result get a good amount of money. Some of which they pass onto the user.
Paid Survey Scams
There are a countless number of survey scams out on the web today. Type in the phrase “paid surveys” on Google and you will get over four million results. Many of which are scam sites. Here are some ways to differentiate the legitimate sites from the scams.
- Is the site free to sign up with? The legitimate survey sites have no reason to charge you a fee to sign up with them. If a site requires you to pay a fee to sign up, then you should stay away from it.
- Empty Promises. I have come across sites that make claims that you will get a free vacation when you sign up. Don’t buy in to this junk.
- Do Your Homework. When you come across a paid survey site, make sure you do you homework on it. In other words read reviews, and dig deeper into the site. It’s always good to get a second opinion on a site.
Sites for Beginners
There are a couple of sites that are good for beginners who want to make money with paid surveys. For starters I recommend CashCrate and MySurvey; they are good for beginners and offer a good number of surveys.

Yes Cash Crate are the best. Very reliable and good people to work with. Never had a problem with them ever!
Again great article I will just say keep in mind while searching for legit online survey companies that you should never have to pay to find out what companies realy pay you. I have been doing online surveys for about 2 years and yes you can make money by doing this.

Our chances of making money with cashcrate are quite high if we are a US citizen. But still there are some surveys available for international members.
