There are many bloggers who thinks that it’s impossible to make money with text-link-ads. But that’s not true. There are many bloggers who are able to make thousands of dollars per month with TLA only. And I himself even have been able to make more than $300 per month with text link ads.
I got a payment of $316.36 in my paypal account from TLA as my August earnings with them. The best thing while working with TLA is that, once we have to just add the RSS feed offered by them, we don’t need to worry about anything else. Apart from this, everything is handled by TLA team.

Yes, TLA are great, but you need both quality and quantity of sites. But my thought is that private ads would earn much more as you don’t have to pay the fees. Anyway, this way could be much easier for site networks, as they are already placed in TLA directory.
I agree – having a high pagerank will fill up those orders with TLA quick. Although, sites with PR of 2 or 3, doesn’t matter too much. It depends very much on the niche.

Sounds OK, until you get a ‘Google Slap’. However, if you didn’t care _too_much about the site, _and_ you could pick only good quality _related_ sites to link to, it could be alright.
