I have heard that google will punish webmasters if they use services like text link ads. They will lower you PR, have you heard anything like that?

Yeah he is right goggle will not punish for no follow links i have a pr3 blog do you think it can do good in selling links.

You can try submitting your PR 3 blog there. If you are lucky, your blog may get approved there.
A blog with high PR and Good Alexa Rankings will have higher chances of getting accepted on Text Link ads
