There are tons of ways to make money from blogs. But here are ways to get started:
- Selling your own product: This is one of the most profitable methods and is adopted by many small businesses. If you are an expert of a product/service, create a book or manual of it which people love to buy. And market it through your blog.
- Make money selling others product: When we join some affiliate program, we are paid some amount of money for each sale which is made through our reference. In this case, we are able to save ourselves from the burden and investment to develop a product. You can try any of popular affiliate programs like Amazon, ClickBank, Commission Junction, LinkShare etc.
- Making money by selling Ad Space: To get some real money of Ad space selling, we should have a website with high amount of traffic. When advertiser comes to us to buy Ad space on our website/blog, we can charge on CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis or some fixed amount of money for keeping their ads for a specific interval of time. There are some companies which pays us some fixed amount of money for keeping their text ads for a fixed interval of time like TLA, TNX etc
- Selling PPC Ads: If you a blog which is less popular in your niche, you are better of with PPC (Pay per click) Ads. There are many pay per click networks like Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher Network, Adbrite etc which pays you for every single click made on the ads available on your blog.
- Paid blogging: And if you need some instant money from your blog, try some paid blogging network where you will be paid for every post you write for them. Some paid blogging networks are SponsoredReviews, ReviewMe, Blogsvertise etc
