And submitting our blogs on major blog directories is the first or basic step in this direction. Today, there are thousands of blog directories available where we can submit our blogs and many more directories are created everyday.
So submitting our blog to hundreds or thousands of such directories will be really time consuming and tedious task. So the idea is submitting our blog on just top blog directories may be on top 5 or 10 or even on top 20. So here is the list of my top 10 popular blog directories where you can submit your blog:

And he recently launched the ‘Best of the web blog directory’. This directory is very selective about the acceptance of blogs and accepts blogs that are really valuable and are in existence for quite some time. So a link from this blog directory can do lots of wonder for you. So it is worth submitting your blog in this directory. Before submitting your blog here in this directory, you must be satisfying their ‘Terms & Conditions’ and especially check this term:
The blog I am suggesting is in an active blog, with six months or more of postings, is in the English language, contains substantively unique content, and does not already appear in the BOTW Blog Directory.
- EatonWeb the Blog Directory – They are claiming this directory being the oldest blog directory on the internet with Page Rank 7 registered in 1997. Once our blog is accepted here in this oldest blog directory on the web, our blog authority in its niche will automatically increase. Each blog that is accepted on EatonWeb gets three rankings: Strength, momentum and overall.
- Blog Catalog Directory – is one of oldest social blog directory where we can share and view blogs of our choice. We have to register to submit one or more of our blogs here. This blog directory has wide range of categories and is offering search ability by country, language or even by user.
- Blog Flux Directory – is a great blog directory with wide range of categories shown in alphabetic order. With this, blog Flux is offering many useful tools for the bloggers like page rank checker, Mapstats, Pinger, polls, quizzes, themes and community to join. - Blogarama – Need to create an account to submit our blog here on Blogarama with 80413 blogs listed already. They are offering free as well as paid listing (For $10)
- Blogoozle – They are accepting free as well as paid blog submission. Blogs under free review must have page rank 1 at least and for paid review, blog owners have to pay $7. nice entry…i submitted to 50 sites and really only get traffic form blogcatalog (since i’ve become active) and blogspot. will have to compare my 50 to your list and see what’s missing.
