Top 10 Firefox Add-ons I cannot live without

There are hundreds of extensions available on Firefox, but I’m including only those extensions that I find useful as a Seo blogger. And if you don’t have Firefox, you can download it from Mozilla Firefox official site for free.

  3. Check page LinksLinkChecker 0.6.2 was developed by Kevin Freitas and is still working on it to improve it further. LinkChecker is the best tool available today to find the broken or dead link on a webpage.

  6. User Agent SwitcherUser agent is a great extension that allows you to check a website like a Googlebot. Typical use of this agent switcher is allowing access to websites that restrict access based on the browser being used.
  7. FireFTP 0.97.3is a free and secure client FTP from Firefox which gives easy access to FTP servers. With file uploading and downloading, we can do directory comparison, Filtering, remote editing, drag & drop, file hashing with Fireftp.
  8. ShowIP addressShowIP extension gives us the IP address of a website in our Status Bar like shown below. This is particularly useful when we need to check if multiple websites are hosted on the same IP. Right Clicking on the ShowIP icon in our Status bar will display Whois information with other stuff.
  9. Live HTTP Headers – This extension from Firefox enables us to view the HTTP header sent during page load. This is really useful for developers and Seo’s to check 301, 302 redirect or 404 errors during page load.
  10. CustomizeGoogle
    Customize Google Extension allows us to make the same search that we made on Google on other search engines like Yahoo, Ask, AlltheWeb, Live, Lycos, Technorati, Wikipedia, Bloglines etc.
