Good in depth article about TLA. I have not really evaluated this advertising company or even considered them to business with them. The fact that you have made money and its been going on for a year is a good point to make. It tells me there is some stability there.
If you have high page rank blog, you may sell some link at this site. The buyer wants to link so they will get high page rank too. Some testimonies say that the links is great for increasing the traffic.

I have a couple of blogs that do have some PR and I haven’t put Text Link Ads on those sites because I am making money with them and don’t want to mess that up.

These type of networks are certainly worthwhile for those who are already established or have a budget, but for those just starting out with minimal resources, I think a forum marketplace like digitalpoint’s is the superior option simply because of possible negotiations you can work out as well as the possibility for long-term partnerships developing…
Still, TLA seems pretty decent and I’m sure I’d like there marketplace and system better than Kontera’s, which I don’t particularly favor.
