But you need decent PR at least to get some advertisers. In the absence of traffic and pr, your chances of making money fro your blog are quite low. And you should keep your blog active with fresh content on regular basis.

Just add the code where you want to show ads once someone buy them. Most of time, we add them in our blog sidebars. So go to your blog sidebar and paste the code where you are interested in showing text link ads. Please mail me if you get some problem in installing this code on your wordpress blog.
