How to choose a Suitable image for your post?
It is often asked questions on how can a blogger choose a good image for his post. Generally, when you are making a post – the image used is something that implies the same meaning. For example, if you have a post related to social networking then you can make use of an image with a group of people are holding hands or communicating. The basic trick is an image which tells the analogy of the image and the picture. You will often notice that many SEO companies use an image where they show a Spider crawling a web. So it is indicative of how Search Engine bots crawls the web.
Why Is an Image Such a Big Deal?
It is only human that we hate is a nature within us when there is only text, text and more text. Most high school text books use a lot of image for the same reason – illustrations help people to understand what the author is trying to convey. The clarity of what you write is well-explained when you use an image. Another big benefit of using nice, related images is that a reader is more inclined to reading what you have written. If you have no images in your post – it gives off a very dull and unattractive impression. An image will improve the readability of your post.
What are other the advantages?
Well another really big advantage of using images is the traffic that good images can provide you. If you have used appropriate image tags and added a search engine optimized link for your image then it can indexed in Google. So when someone searched for images in Google Images then in return you can get a lot of traffic t your site or blog. Traffic is a benefit from images that many bloggers overlook. It can send you a lot of traffic even when your content is not sending any traffic your way.
So make sure you use images when you make your next post. It will make your blog more interesting.

I think it should be noted that graphs, charts, and other things that come in jpeg format that aren’t pictures can be just as handy. Pretty much anything that can help to keep the reader’s eyes on the page is good.
Thanks so much for your post.. I do try to put images in my blog posts.. but sometimes I’m a bit lazy and it doesn’t happen. Good reading.. and good encouragement!!
Hi,
Good info. I agree that images play an important part in a post (though the post has to be good too and provide value).
For people wondering where to find royalty-free images, then you haven’t seen istockphoto.com
You can choose the size of the image (the smaller the image, the cheaper it is).
But the great thing about istockphoto is that you can find GREAT photos (royalty-free), at a low price.
They have a HUGE, GREAT collection of images, which range from every category. They also have ‘conceptual’ images. Which show a category/subject in a conceptual way.
Cheers,
Nabeel
